We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the area and were not disappointed! The service was excellent and the food was yummy. The people who appeared to be the owners were working their tails off to make sure all of their guests were seated quickly and well taken care of. It's clear that many of the diners were regulars, and we would be too if we lived nearby! Added bonus - everyone was very kind to our 16 month old, and we greatly appreciated the full-size high chair. It felt like we were at home! We look forward to returning on our next trip.

The staff are not working as a team. No line. Name on the list number 1 for a table. Multiple tables open but nobody bussing tables. Staff behind counter dilly-dallying around and not pitching in to help. Nobody managing the staff.

The short: Great, comfortable, family-owned diner. Beautiful eggs benedict! I love eggs benedict!! They're my new favorite food. After I saw somebody order it at Crepevine (in the Bay), I decided I wanted to try one for myself. So yum! Debra was such a sweet lady. She asked my friend and i if we wanted to split the checks. We said yes. She checked up on us a couple times. So very attentive! Cute little diner atmosphere. Arroyo Grande doesn't have the same type of people as SLO. It's great to see that the locals enjoy coming here, whether it's the older folks catching up, coming after Sunday service, eating alone with a cup of coffee or just enjoying a family brunch. It was all very calming and a nice touch of another dimension that I don't see too often.

Feels like a family run joint. We came here for Sunday breakfast. Lots of people, but there are lots of tables and space. Service was delightful. We didn't have to wait too long. They probably get a lot of people passing through here and probably a lot of regulars. Pancakes were good, eggs good, and the hash browns were good too. I liked the pepper sauce they have on the table. Gave my eggs some nice flavor.

The Girls Restaurant will be closing and we are so sad we are going to miss all of them.

Just like a home cooked meal. Had country fried steak with pancakes. Pancakes are not rubbery. Good portions for price you pay. Friendly fast service.

Good old diner type breakfast place. Family owned and all work there. Very happy and friendly people , breakfast was delicious. Had French toast and eggs combo, good portions and very tasty. I had over heard that they will be closing for a month for renovations but they still staying.. Great place will definitely go again when back up here.

Rubbery pancakes and syrup like runny glue. Will not go back. We were at this restaurant about a month ago and the food was good, but not so today.

Went a couple of weeks ago and was stoked on the portion sizes. It was a damn good breakfast.

Love this place! Been coming here for years (I am a local) and have never been disappointed. Great food and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

This place does not warrant the four star rating it currently has. We came here for breakfast based on the ratings and boy were we disappointed. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I the Johnboy breakfast sandwich. My husband's burrito had about 90% potatoes and only 1 egg. He had to open the burrito up surgically in order to dig out any protein to eat. My sandwich was nothing more than a grilled cheese with one scrambled egg in it. It was so poorly done it was laughable. Hopefully it was an off day for them (the table behind us got a refund on their bill because their order came out wrong), but just be wary in case this is the norm. We are heading to Cafe Andreini's for a cup of coffee to recover (and to fill up on).

Girls is nice old time restaurant diner. I ordered the senior chicken fried steak and it was plenty for a very reasonable price. The coffee is good and as busy as they were on a Sunday morning the service was good (lots of checks in for refills). Overall a good experience, when I am back in the area I will be back.

    (4)
  • Corynn W.

Great service! All smile and actually speak with you no matter how busy they are. Also didn't feel rushed out. And the food was great!

We come here every Sunday and the staff is always very accommodating and sweet! Their pancakes are huge and delicious; as are their breakfast burritos. Plus they always have coupons.

Got seated , then ignored. So we got up and left. People that were in front of us got service, and people that came in after we did got service. We were totally ignored. Never going back there.

Good cup of coffee (I like mine black), service was friendly and efficient. It's a neighborhood spot and you can see the lovely interactions between the locals and staff. Every neighborhood should have a place like this. The pace of life out in this neck of the woods isn't fast paced or frenetic so expect a slower more relaxed approach. Savor the atmosphere and the great food and enjoy yourself. Summary: food 4/5, service 4/5, price: $10-14 (breakfast) I ordered the Ranch Hand $9.95 which consisted of 4 half slices of great French toast, 2 eggs and either 2 slices of bacon or 2 links of sausage. The French toast was on point, slightly crispy with a nice fluffy texture inside. Eggs and sausage was par for the course. Throw in a good cup of coffee for $2.25. Total bill: $13.18 with tax and $16 total with tip. Fullness: full and content Satisfaction: 8.5/10

We just had a great all-American breakfast experience! Little farmer was perfect amount of food for a hungry girl! The eggs over medium were done perfectly, as a matter of fact the entire table commented on their perfectly cooked eggs! The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered and the food came out hot and fresh with out any of wait time. Great little family diner!

Looking for a nice place to start our Saturday this morning. Picked this place and I am glad I did. Very good breakfast. Typical diner look to the place but the food was great. I had a linguica and cheese omelet and Deb had the apple and honey pork sausage with eggs. Both breakfasts were yummy with lots of flavor. Good breakfast.

As we checked out of our hotel, we were looking for a good All American breakfast. We stumbled upon Girls Restaurant and gave it a go. While this spot is nothing fancy, it is more of a diner style and we couldn't be more happy. I love the hometown, independently owned diners and this one was great. The service was friendly and good. The food was delicious and served fairly quickly. Mr. B had a breakfast special of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The portions were perfect and everything was seasoned well and great. I opted for the breakfast sandwich, it was served on perfectly toasted sourdough and had hash browns on the side. Again, it was full of flavor, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The coffee and hot water for tea was consistently refilled and within a short amount of time we were back on the road, full and content. I have family in the area and will always try and dine at Girls Restaurant when in town. Thanks for a warm welcome and an All American breakfast.

This place is as good as it gets for family restaurants! EXCELLANT....ABOVE perfection, wonderful the list goes on......if you want a home made American meal this is the place to go on the Central Coast!!!!!

This is always my go-to when craving breakfast! The eggs Benedict is to die for! Such a staple to Grand Ave.!

I was traveling up north so I stopped by this place. Showed them the electronic coupon that I found online through the home catalogue and asked them if they will accept it. Nope! Well with technology nowadays, electronic coupon is also a coupon! This restaurant should open up to accept modern technology and valid electronic coupon. This place used to be my fav whenever I travel up north. This time was not a pleasant one.

Visiting from out of town, took to yelp to find out where was a good place for breakfast. This place seemed a little like a dive, the decor was a bit old. But the service was prompt and nice. Food was good and plentiful. The coffee was actually quite nice! If you are looking for a local business to support instead of the breakfast chain, go here!

My fiancé and I are new to town, and we're on the hunt for a great brunch place. This may not be the brunch place of my dreams, but it's okay for standard breakfast fare. I ordered the eggs benny, while my fella had the chicken fried steak. They did a great job with poaching the eggs for my breakfast and the fella enjoyed his hashbrowns immensely. I will say that they lost points for their gravy (quite flavorless), the biscuits (dry and again flavorless), and the coffee... The coffee was terrible. Even with grinding their own beans, it was weak and stale tasting. But, we enjoyed most of our food, and the service was great--our server was a total doll and quite accommodating. We'll probably be back. Just not for the coffee.

  • Cece G.

We came in it seemed kind if busy ( tables came in at the same time) we got our drinks right away and then were ignored for the ret of the time we waited at least 15 min before I flagged down what seemed to be the owner (she took our drink order) I asked when our server was going to come over to our table or can I just pay for my drinks and leave she just ignored me and continued to do what she was doing without a sorry or anything totally rude! I would think you would care about your customers since we are the main reason you're still open

Best place in town for breakfast. Their Chicken Fried Steak is the best I ever had and a HUGE portion. I'd eat here everyday.

  • Kristen I.

The Girls is a solid breakfast place. No fills. No exciting menu items. But if you're just ordering bacon and eggs with a side of toast, who really cares? They can do that and they do that very well. Albeit, the gravy for the biscuits is like paste, but other than that no real complaints. The hash browns are on point and they can reliably make a well cooked poached egg.

    (4)
  • Evan B.

Great breakfast place. The pancakes are great. Make sure you skip the toast and add pancakes as your side to whatever breakfast dish you are having. All of the breakfast dishes are good as well.

  • Brian K.

Amazing homemade comfort food!!!! The service here was wonderful!!! The girls are awesome!!! I had the Chile Verde Omelet. This was one of the best omelets I have ever tasted!!! The Chile Verde was so fresh and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The quality of the pork was amazing, it feel apart in my mouth. This omelet was topped with a slice of pepper jack cheese and the whole thing just melted in my mouth!!! I didn't know omelets could taste this good. These guys (the cooks are guys) really know how to cook!!! The girls are great also! They were very friendly with great quick service. This was a five star local spot!!! We will be back for sure for another omelet.

Classic diner food done right. Got the ham 'n eggs special w/ a side of country gravy. Hard to go wrong w/ that but so many do. These folks got it right. What up w/ "The Girls Restaurant" in AG and "The Boys Restaurant" in SM? Is there a connection? I'd appreciate a quick note from someone who knows the story.

If you are looking for a typical diner breakfast, this is your place. Nothing too spectacular, large portions and reasonable prices.

Me and a few friends decided to have brunch here while traveling. Everything was awesome, from the staff to the food. My portion of chicken fried steak was amazingly large, and everyone else was pleased with their orders. One of my friends was pretty drunk and almost slightly belligerent (he wasn't trying to be, he just couldn't help himself because he was so drunk) and the staff was so awesome about it and couldn't have handled it better. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll make it a point to come back.

Best blueberry pancakes in town. Always busy but not a long wait to be seated. Family run, so it's very friendly here.

Wonderful Sunday morning, no waiting, fast service, I ordered the Ruben Sandwich with a side salad. The food was perfect temperature, sandwich was great!! I will come again!!

  • Jon F.

Typical average dinner. I'd almost prefer Denny's. I had the Boss Hog and my father-in-law had an omelet. Pancakes were decent (but that is hard to screw up), over easy eggs cooked perfectly, bacon and sausage were the standard cheap breakfast items found anywhere. The omelet looked okay but on the small side. He said it was lacking ingredients and flavor. Overall, nice staff and my experience was just fine. Would I go back? Probably not.

  • Sam B.

This is a really friendly place that is mostly filled with people who have been coming there for the last 21 years. I had the tuna sandwich that they over charged us for. They charged us $9.50 instead of the $7.95 lunch special price.. the tuna tasted like the premade tuna you can buy at safeway in the deli department and my sourdough wasn't fresh. Fries and ranch were pretty good but most of my fries were burnt. My mom said her egg tasted a lot better compared to cjs cafe. Very friendly service. I'd give 5 stars if it were for service alone.

    (3)
  • Lily B.

Nice greasy spoon that was not too greasy. ;). Love hash browns and their's were tasty, I could tell the griddle was cleaned regularly.

Been one of my favorite breakfast spots for many, many years. Consistently good grub! Friendly staff, clean environment.

  • Joshua B.

Going to go ahead and give it a full 5 stars, I think it's a fantastic example of the great American diner. Good food, reasonable portion size that isn't so overkill that half gets taken home (like Jocko's) cooked well. A bit under seasoned, but with more than enough condiments of your choice available to fix that. Our table had eggs done all ways, and all were quite good, plus the corned beef hash was excellent; the hash browns were my favorite in a long time, the pancake was good and sugar-free syrup is available, and the biscuits and gravy were good but not quite the best. Most importantly, service was top notch. It was completely slammed for the holidays, with a long wait initially, but once we sat down we got our drinks immediately and the waitress managed her many tables with aplomb, rotating to us several times to get our order and then check to make sure things were ok, and always had a big smile even when I called her to bring some hot sauce. Surprisingly, the food also came out quickly after ordering. I'd definitely come back, hopefully on a bit of a slower day next time.

We LOVE this place! The food is consistently good and the service quick and friendly, we try to have breakfast here when we visit the central coast.

You know, I really wanted to like this place because it is the closest restaurant to my home but I was not impressed. We went for breakfast and I had the...I think it was called the Johnboy breakfast sandwich which tasted salty and was too greasy. I did like the country potatoes that accompanied it. What my husband had was not memorable to me but I believe it was one of the omelets. His said his meal was average. The waitress was not particularly friendly and did not return to ask how the food was or to see if we needed anything. When we were at the register, we saw our neighbor at one of the tables (we found out he's a regular there) and he came to introduce us to the young woman at the register who acted like she could care less about us. Not the type of experience that has you dying to return.

Average diner food. Huge portions but none of it particularly appetizing. The fresh fruit was blah, the biscuit was soggy and soaked in bland gravy - the one highlight was the linguica sausage. Note: we count two stars as average.

  • Rob J.

You want a diner, here's a diner. Comfort food with sassy waitresses and an atmosphere you feel should be in a movie. You know, the kind where the mob guys go to eat before planning that heist. But it's a family type atmosphere too. Know what, forget the mob guy comment. That was inappropriate. Had breakfast here and it was great. Pancakes are big, bacon crisp, eggs cooked to order. The clanking of plates and mugs while old people read newspapers...yeah. Everytime I drive by and go in the sky is overcast and slightly dreary, which is perfect. I don't know how they manage it, but The Girls has great special effects. Real deal diner. Go. Eat. Thank me later.

I am not a coffee shop person. However, I was so pleasantly surprised I have to commend this place. The service was THE BEST service I have had in ages, bar none! Our waitress was superb. She was quick witted, helpful, attentive, interactive without being annoying, and remembered everything, no small task for our table of twelve and two children. Hats off! The food was good coffee shop food. Delicious banana pancakes, ok french toast, tasty chicken fried steak. Huge order of bisquits and gravy ( I didn't taste those) Everyone complimented the food. Not gourmet, but good solid breakfast viddles. I reccommend finding it and enjoying the lost art of quality service. Ironically, as I was paying someone else was commenting on their excellent service and how it is a lost art. I again refer to my overly critical son, two thumbs up!

Pretty good diner food. Nothing special but nothing bad. Chili verde omelet was just ok, I've had better and I've had worse. The biscuits and gravy was nothing to rave about, flavorless gravy and the biscuit was barely softer than a hockey puck. My father in law got ham and eggs. The ham was a pretty impressively thick. The hash browns were great but the country potatoes were sad, just cut up potatoes dropped on the deep fryer with barely cooked onions and peppers on top. When the server was around was very nice but once we got our food never saw them again. The gal who seated us asked if we wanted coffee and she came quickly with it but one of us asked for a soda and it finally came 10min later. Like I said I've had better and I've had worse. I don't think anything was homemade except for the just ok chili verde and the prices seemed a little high. It's par with Denny's but I wouldn't say better, the only advantage over Denny's is that its not a chain

We stumbled on a few reviews of places while on a weekend getaway. This diner caught my eye for we try to experiment and visit great breakfast places while traveling. The staff was wonderful. It was just delicious to enjoy a really good breakfast in a retro atmosphere with smiling people, both staff and customers. For Michael to rave about a place is unique. Michael raved. We will be back!! Thanks Girls!

For some reason this local diner reminds of the diner scene from Pulp Fiction. There's no connection to it, but it just does... Anyways, from outside this place looks like your typical diner off a highway in the middle of one where. Lucky it is not, and this place will make your belly happy if your hungry. The servings are not gigantically huge but enough to ask for a box. The Veggie Omelet is very good. Mmmm melted cheese on top (white cheese if I remember right). The Turkey Burger is a simple and plain turkey patty in between two buns. Also if you ask for balsamic vinegar salad dressing, it is do-it-yourself. They will bring out the balsamic vinegar and olive oil in separate containers for you. =)

Stumbled in here for breakfast and the service was fantastic. Food was good, fast and generous. Not sure about the cheese on my omelet, it was a little weird, but the rest was all good.

Hadn't been here in a while! Loved the pancakes. Great kind of old dinner classic feel to the place. Kinda huge portions and tasty. The waitress was funny and seemed to know just about everybody in the joint! How often do you see that in this day and age? I felt like I was in Mel's dinner and Flo was waiting on me! It was a good time!

Pretty basic and from what I experienced, overrated. Not super flavorful but decent breakfast food. I got biscuits and gravy eggs and sausage. Pretty weak for for $9. Gravy was bland, biscuits were not great. Eggs were cooked well and I liked the sausage.

There is a joy to visiting a family run restaurant. Everyone who walks in becomes kinfolk and we get to see the dynasty pictures adorning the walls. If you need some comfort food and hospitable spirits, then the place to eat is The Girls Restaurant in Arroyo Grande (located on Grand Avenue in front of the Cookie Crook). Who, in my humble opinion, has unsurpassed home cooked diner food with the best values in the area. Now they have lowered the prices to support the community, and to help introduce this food to a whole new generation. They even lowered the price of a cup of Joe to under $2.00! This family run enterprise has the finest in comfort food, breakfasts, and pies in the area. Owned by Scott and Cynthia Harrigan, who started out as a dishwasher and bus girl and moved their way up to owners, this is restaurant with real family style. The Girls has the classic counter look of a townie diner with the menu of a restaurant that offers everything from basic and traditional to upscale and healthy. The entire restaurant has a wonderful feel to it, as the waitress, cooks, busboys all seem to enjoy what they are doing (and have worked here happily for decades) and the cuisine is down-home perfection. They have rolled out a new menu with healthy choices, lower prices and amazing offers for the over 55 set, while not changing the quality of the food or service. As Scott told me, "We found as the economy has taken a turn and people are eating out less often, it has become mandatory that we have a wide variety of affordable offerings on the menu, without cutting quality" His dear wife Cindy added, "It allows guests to experience The Girls in a new and affordable way." They are also offering a free 7-night Mexican cruise to anyone who wants to enter. "This is just our way of thanking both old and new customers", Cindy explained. The menu is vast and varied with breakfast served all day. My daughter discovered homemade biscuits and country gravy here and swears it is the best, anywhere. I like that they have added eggs benedict to the everyday menu along with homemade chili verde omelets. They added a healthy choice menu with salads, vegetarian and delights including chicken ceasar salad, with chopped lettuce (this is the most important element of a good salad), diced chicken breast that is sliced first then grilled to maintain moisture, hard boiled eggs, croutons and parmesan cheese all with a delectable ceasar dressing. I also liked the oriental chicken salad with mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, oriental hard noodles all accessorized with a tangy sesame dressing. New appetizers will appeal to the adventurous and include Chili Cheese Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and a trio of Buffalo Hot Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and Quesadilla. These were the perfect accouterment to the meal and such a value! Gary loves the home-style dinners that come with soup or salad, real whipped potatoes or a baked potato, vegetables and a biscuit, cornbread or a dinner roll. Entrees included are Salisbury Steak, Golden Fried Chicken (prepared fresh and cooked to order), Flame Broiled Rib Eye Steak (hand cut) and more; and the pies- he lives for these pies. The menu is huge, with everything from fish and chips to steak combos to spaghetti platters. All is house made with the feeling and attention only a family can give to food. Seniors get a fantastic, full meal for two, Monday through Thursday for only $15.75, including dessert. I like being part of The Girls family, just keep the pies coming! See the whole review at tolosapress.com or on newsstands now.

Great breakfast and the waitresses were wonderful. The Girls Restaurant was very good. I asked for my breakfast to be prepared to my liking and my waitress said no problem. The meal was excellent. All of the staff came over to inquire how our meals were and if we needed anything. They were so very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return.

If you love great diner food and down-home cooking, you're going to love The Girl's Restaurant. I go almost every weekend, and there hasn't been anything on the menu that I haven't loved. It has some stick-to-your-ribs dishes that are classic at diners like country dried steak, biscuits and gravy, and pork chops. But there are also healthier items like a veggie sandwich, black bean burger and a veggie burger. There is really something for everyone and the service is fantastic. One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots.

Good news! The Girl's is once again serving dinner! As much as I enjoy their breakfast and lunches, I had really missed eating dinner at the Girl's. We ate there last night, had our old favorites, and they were as good as we remembered. So, drop by for dinner and enjoy your favorites.

Neighboorhood breakfast go to until today. Service always good BUT hair embedded in pancake completely unacceptable!!! When brought to their attention nothing was done and we got a very weak appology and sent on our way. Maybe because it came at the end of our meal they thought it was ok. Seems odd. I guess they have a big enough customer base to not miss these regulars. B-bye Girls!

This place was pretty cool. I kind of didn't feel like I was in California anymore. Lots of old, like really old people. There was this old lady at a different table which had her head on the table. I honestly thought she was dead. Anyway, they seated a group of six of us in a few minutes even though they were pretty busy. The waitress was a sweetheart and joked with us while we tried to decide was to order. The coffee was decent and the food was pretty good. The prices for some thing were great and other things were too much (like $2.50 for 2 slices of plain toast). I think I enjoyed the place and the people more than the food. I'd probably tried something else next time.

Its your basic Family run Diner, and all the stuff that goes with it..... They have a daily "Boss-Hog" Breakfast special (before 11am) Daily lunch specials, and the same with Dinner. Some days they are not open, however, surprisingly on days when you would expect them to have more business. The food is average, have not had a bad meal here, but nothing "stands out" as being Great. Your Grand-Parents would love the place, as long as they didnt have to pay. UPDATE...... We just went there last night, and noticed that their prices have gone up.... (like most other places, also) Most of their meals are now over $10. They DO, however have a "2 for $18" special, with 5 choices of the Entree's. (Meat loaf, Salsbury steak, Fried Chicken, Liver & Onions.... )

This is where true comfort food lives! Huge portions of hearty, good food. Friendly, personable staff. There was a time when The Girls and Farm Boys were pretty much the only places to eat in the area. Arroyo Grande is very fortunate to still have a gem like The Girls Restaurant around.

Well as far as over priced food you found the place. It was nothing exciting and the food was plain, good customer service but dennys would of been a better option. If your a local im sure this place is for you but as a food lover and a Chef i was disapointed after i ate here, i read yelp and based on what i read i wanted to t here but after the meal was done i pretty much was disapointed. A great place for senior citizens but for me ill pass. Now Rudie and Angies down the street is a good find but thats another subject.

Not bad. A little better then a Denny's. Nice little local place. Had some tasty linguica. The server Debra was very patient and understanding with my indecisive girlfriend. Lotta food too!!

Great staff, reasonably priced, good for kids and the food was delish. You can def feel when a place is after your money rather than giving great customer service. This place caters to you. Our waitress helped us lower our bill by suggesting items from the menu. The coffee was yummy and the pancakes fluffy.

Eat where the locals eat. Good diner food and great service. Where else can you get a bowl of chili for breakfast. My 5 year old daughter says it's the best place ever.

Family owned diner place that the locals love! The staff was very friendly and efficient, the portions were generous and everything was super fresh (I had a veggie omelette and my SO had pork chops, eggs and potato hash). What I liked the most was the atmosphere-very Americana!

If you like bland comfort food. This is definitely the place. Lots of older regular customers who may not enjoy flavorful grub. For comfort food the prices were than I expected. A bowl of veggie soap, small tasteless cornbread muffin and iceberg lettuce dinner salad for almost $10.

We were actually looking for Honeymoon but couldn't figure out where it was. Thank GOD my boyfriend talked me out of my decision to go to IHOP (What?!?! We were traveling for hours and really needing to use the ladies'). I looked around at their decor and noticed they had family photos for everyone to see. I thought that was very sweet. This nice lady showed us to our table and we even shared a laugh about my caffeine addiction. I love veggie omelets so of course I got that and hash browns and boyfriend got four stacks of pancakes. My omelet was so freakin good. I loved how all everything complimented each other. I tried some of the boyfriend's pancakes and they were so delicious and fluffy. If you're heading on down to the dunes and need some breakfast, I would definitely recommend this place.

Let me start this review by saying that I do not want to drag this lovely little home-town restaurant down. The rating for 3 stars here on Yelp is described as "A-OK," and that is just how I would describe this restaurant. It's certainly OK. But it is far from the 5-star wonder that (until now) every review has given it. My family and I ate there, and the food was decent. Nothing amazing, nothing extraordinary. Technically everything was correct, but neither was there anything to set it apart from any other diner you'd eat at. If you eat here, you will not dislike the food, the service will be reasonable, and you might even get some entertainment from the local 'flair' (we saw a wicked moustache and met some very nice old ladies). But 5 stars? No.

OK, so from the outside, this place doesn't look good. I mean, not at all. It looks like a truckstop dive. It looks like you'd be better off at Denny's. Insert some sort of "don't judge a book by it's cover" wisdom here. The food is great. Well priced, and tasty. I am a biscuts and gravy addict, and this is the best I've tasted in 5 cities by far. I can also vouch for their chicken fried steak, pancakes, and french toast. All yum yum, good. Also, they have real high chairs. Not broken down, belt-less, sticky wooden seats, but real honest to goodness high chairs. The kind you would put your baby in at home. Do you have any idea how much better your meal can be with a happy self contained baby in his own little thone? Probably not, if you haven't tried The Girls Restaurant yet. It's bliss. Oh! And, the waitress went searching through all the crayon buckets the other day to find a red one for my whining 9 year old. Nice! Seriously great place to eat out with your family.
